The Board

Bella Luna Productions is the first independent film production company in the United States to have a majority female board from its inception. The board is responsible for developing the business aspects of the company, including rights management and finance for the films. The board decides which projects to develop and produce, and responds to the needs of each project and the crew.

 

The Crew

The crew is responsible for actually making the films, from inception to final cut. This includes everything from screenwriting to location scouting, casting, shooting, photography, design, editing and sound. 

 

Associate Producers

Our funding comes from an international combination of sources, including private equity, venture capital and grants. Major private equity investors are given associate producer credits, while venture capital companies receive an ident at the start of the movie and a link on this website.
